Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Just Plan It (https://justplanit.com) and any related pages, applications, or features we operate (the “Service”).
Please read them carefully. By browsing the Service, creating an account, submitting a professional application, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms are designed for two kinds of users: (a) people who want help finding professionals to plan an event (“Organizers”), and (b) businesses that want to appear on the Service and/or create an account (“Professionals”). Some clauses apply to everyone; others apply only to one group.
1. Who we are
The Website https://justplanit.com is operated by the operator of the “Just Plan It” website. In this document, “we”, “us” and the “Operator” mean Just Plan It, established in Greece.
If any identification details above are still incomplete, we will publish the remaining legal name, registered address, and tax identifiers in this section as soon as they are available, and in any event before we offer paid services. Until then, you may contact us through the contact details published on the Website.
2. Definitions
- “Website” or “Service” means https://justplanit.com and the catalog, search, professional profiles, and business-account features we provide.
- “Organizer” (or “Visitor”) means any person who uses the Service to browse event categories, event types, or Professionals, whether or not they create an account.
- “Professional” (or “Vendor”) means a business, freelancer, or other provider that applies for, holds, or is listed with a business account or public listing on the Service (for example DJs, caterers, photographers, planners, venues, and similar event services).
- “Listing” means a public professional profile or catalog entry on the Service.
- “Content” means text, images, logos, prices, contact details, websites, social links, availability, descriptions, and any other material submitted, displayed, or transmitted through the Service.
- “you” means the Organizer or Professional using the Service, as the context requires.
3. Nature of the Service — what we are and what we are not
Just Plan It is an online discovery and directory platform. We help Organizers browse event categories and event types and find Professionals. We also allow Professionals to apply for an account, and, if approved, to manage profile information that may be shown publicly.
This is a critical clause. Please read it in full:
- We are an information-society / online-intermediation service. We are not an event planner, booking agent, insurer, escrow agent, or payment institution.
- We are not a party to any contract, booking, quote, deposit, or payment between an Organizer and a Professional.
- We do not currently process bookings or payments on the Service. Any quote, reservation, deposit, invoice, refund, or cancellation is arranged directly between Organizer and Professional.
- We are not the agent, employer, partner, or joint-venturer of any Professional, except as an independent platform operator.
- A Listing, “featured” label, admin review, or appearance in search is not a certification, endorsement, or guarantee of quality, availability, licensing, insurance, or suitability.
- Contact details on a Listing (phone, email, website, Instagram, or similar) are provided so that the parties can contact each other directly. We do not control those communications.
Marketing copy on the Website (including “how it works” or similar language) may describe the planning experience in general terms, or features we may add later. These Terms describe the Service as it operates today. If we add bookings, payments, messaging, or other tools, additional terms may apply and we will notify affected users as required by law.
4. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a Professional account.
- Organizers under 18 may browse only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for their use of the Service.
- Professionals must have legal capacity to bind the business they represent and must only submit information they are authorized to submit.
- You must provide true, complete, and current information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may refuse, suspend, or close an account as described in these Terms.
5. Terms for Organizers (people planning an event)
If you use the Service only to browse and contact Professionals, the following applies in addition to the rest of these Terms.
- You use Listings as a starting point only. You must do your own due diligence before hiring anyone: check licenses, insurance, portfolio, references, written quotes, cancellation terms, and whether the Professional is a fit for your event, date, venue, and budget.
- Prices shown on the Service (including “from” or starting prices) are indicative, declared by the Professional, may exclude VAT, extras, travel, or overtime, and may be outdated. They are not an offer by us and not a binding quote.
- Availability, hours, service areas, languages, and event types are declared by the Professional. They are not a confirmed booking.
- Any contract for event services is solely between you and the Professional. We have no obligation to mediate, refund, complete, or guarantee the event.
- We are not liable if a Professional cancels, performs poorly, causes damage, injury, or delay, overcharges, or fails to attend. Your remedies are against the Professional, not against us, except where the law does not allow us to exclude liability.
- You must not misuse contact details obtained from the Service (including spam, harassment, scraping, or resale of contact lists).
- You are responsible for the information you send to Professionals and for complying with applicable law when you organize an event.
6. Terms for Professionals (vendors creating an account or listing)
If you apply for, hold, or are displayed in a Professional account or Listing, you agree to the following in addition to the rest of these Terms.
- Application. You may register with an email, password, and website (and optional business name and phone). We will send an email verification link. Your application stays pending until we review it.
- Discretionary review. Approval, rejection, or a request for more information is at our reasonable discretion. An approved account does not automatically create a public Listing. We may publish, delay, edit, or decline a Listing if the profile is incomplete, inconsistent, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable.
- No right to be listed. Appearance on the Service is a permission we may grant, condition, or withdraw. We do not guarantee leads, enquiries, ranking, or revenue.
- Accurate Content. All Listing Content must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading. You must update it promptly if your services, areas, prices, contact details, or availability change.
- Your services. You alone are responsible for the services you advertise and provide: quotes, contracts, invoices, VAT and tax, labour and social-security compliance, health and safety, permits, insurance, cancellations, refunds, and client complaints.
- Licences and insurance. You represent that you hold all licences, permits, and insurance reasonably required for the services you offer, and that you will maintain them while listed.
- Authority and IP. You represent that you own or have a licence to use all Content you submit (including photos, logos, and text), and that our use of that Content on the Service will not infringe third-party rights.
- Licence to us. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (including crop, format, and translate), display, and promote your Content on the Service and in our marketing, SEO, and social channels, for as long as you are listed and for a reasonable period afterwards (for example backups, caches, and search-engine copies).
- Client relationship. Organizers who contact you become your clients or prospects. We are not a party to that relationship and do not collect a commission unless we later introduce a separate paid product and you agree to it.
- Prohibited listings. You must not list illegal services, impersonate another business, use another person’s brand or photos without rights, or advertise services you cannot actually provide.
- Fair dealing. You must deal fairly and lawfully with Organizers, honour written quotes you issue, and not use the Service to defraud or harass anyone.
- Account security. You must not share your password. You remain responsible for activity on your account.
7. Search, ranking, and featured Professionals
This section explains, in general terms, the main parameters that influence how Professionals are found and ordered (including for EU platform-to-business transparency).
- A Professional generally appears in a category or event type when that Professional is active in our catalog and associated with the relevant service type and/or event types.
- Search results depend on the Organizer’s query and filters (for example category, event type, or name).
- Order may reflect editorial criteria such as a “featured” flag, profile completeness, relevance to the selected event type, name, or other catalog fields we reasonably use to keep the Service usable.
- “Featured” or similar highlighting is currently an editorial choice by us. It is not a paid ranking product unless we later say so clearly.
- We do not guarantee any particular position, traffic, or number of enquiries.
- If we later offer paid prominence, advertising, or differentiated treatment, we will disclose the existence of that paid treatment in these Terms or on the relevant page.
8. Fees
Access to the Service is currently free for Organizers and Professionals. We may introduce fees, featured placements, or other paid products later. For Professional (business) users, we will give at least 15 days’ prior notice of material changes to these Terms that introduce or change fees, unless a shorter period is allowed by law (for example for legal or safety reasons).
Unless required by law, any future fees are non-refundable once the relevant period of listing or promotion has started.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service, including the Just Plan It name and logo, website design, software, catalog structure (categories and event types), and original text, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit the catalog or the Service except as allowed by these Terms or mandatory law.
You may share links to public pages. Automated harvesting of Professional contact details, systematic scraping, or building a competing directory from our Content is forbidden.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to plan or promote illegal events or services.
- Submit false, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, or harmful Content.
- Interfere with the Service’s security, attempt unauthorized access, or introduce malware.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data except through ordinary browser use or as allowed by our robots.txt for bona fide indexing.
- Circumvent approval, ranking, or technical limits.
- Harass, spam, or misuse personal data of Organizers or Professionals.
- Impersonate us, another user, or a third party.
11. Illegal or infringing Content — notices
If you believe Content on the Service is illegal or infringes your rights, send a notice to the contact details published on the Website including: (a) a URL or clear description of the Content; (b) why you believe it is illegal or infringing; (c) your name and contact details; and (d) a statement that the information in the notice is accurate. We may ask for more information.
We may remove or restrict Content, and we may notify the Professional who posted it. Repeat or serious violations may lead to suspension or termination. We are a hosting provider as regards Professional Content: we do not generally monitor it in advance, and we act on notices and on our own investigations as required by applicable law (including the EU Digital Services Act, where it applies).
12. Suspension, restriction, and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service, an account, or a Listing where we reasonably consider it necessary, including if:
- You breach these Terms or we receive credible complaints.
- Content is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or infringing.
- We must comply with law, a court order, or a competent authority.
- There is fraud, security risk, spam, or harm to Organizers, Professionals, or our reputation.
- The account is inactive for a prolonged period.
- We discontinue all or part of the Service.
For Professional business users, where Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 applies: we will give a statement of reasons for a restriction, suspension, or termination, and at least 30 days’ prior notice of a termination that is not based on a legal obligation, imperative grounds under EU or national law, or a repeated / serious breach. We may restrict immediately where those exceptions apply (including illegal Content, fraud, or safety).
You may stop using the Service at any time. Professionals may request account closure via the contact details published on the Website. We may retain records as required by law, and copies of Content may remain in backups or search-engine caches for a limited time.
13. Third-party services and links
Listings may contain links to third-party websites, Instagram, phone numbers, and email addresses. Those services are outside our control. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.
We use infrastructure and processors such as Firebase / Google for authentication and data storage, and hosting providers to run the Website. Outages or acts of those providers are outside our reasonable control.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In particular, we do not warrant that: the catalog is complete, current, or error-free; any Professional is available, licensed, insured, or suitable; any event will succeed; the Service will be uninterrupted or secure; or that admin review amounts to a background check or professional certification.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Greek or EU law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any mandatory rights of consumers.
Subject to the previous paragraph, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any contract, act, omission, delay, cancellation, quality issue, injury, property damage, or financial loss arising between an Organizer and a Professional.
- We are not liable for Professional Content, third-party websites, or communications that take place off the Service.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost bookings, lost data, or reputational harm.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in that period (often zero while the Service is free) and (b) one hundred euros (€100).
If you are an Organizer acting as a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under Greek Law 2251/1994 and other consumer-protection rules. If you are a Professional, you use the Service as a business user.
16. Indemnity
Professionals shall indemnify and hold harmless the Operator, and our officers, employees, and contractors, from and against claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising out of: (a) your Listing or Content; (b) your services or contracts with Organizers; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) infringement of third-party rights.
Organizers shall indemnify us against claims arising from their misuse of the Service or of Professional contact details, to the extent permitted by consumer law.
17. Privacy
How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy. Professionals additionally consent to the public display of the business information they choose to publish in a Listing.
18. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may change the Service, including categories, features, and availability of Listings. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change.
For Professional business users, where Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 applies, we will give at least 15 days’ notice of proposed changes unless a shorter period is legally allowed. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
For Organizers, posting the updated Terms on the Website is sufficient notice, except where a stronger form of notice is required by law.
19. Complaints and dispute handling
Professionals may submit complaints about these Terms, ranking, or a restriction of their account by writing to the contact details published on the Website. We will handle complaints in a timely and transparent manner and will respond with an outcome where reasonably possible.
Where Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 applies, Professional business users may also use mediation as provided in that Regulation. We are willing to engage in good faith with mediators identified under that framework if a dispute is not resolved internally.
Consumers may also use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) and, in Greece, the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman, without prejudice to court proceedings.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece), without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK.
If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of Greece or in the courts of your place of residence, as applicable under EU consumer jurisdiction rules.
If you are a Professional (business user), the competent courts of Athens, Greece, have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
21. General
- If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. An invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that comes closest to the original intent, to the extent allowed by law.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms we present when you use a specific feature) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the Service.
- The Service is offered from Greece and is intended primarily for events and Professionals in Greece, but may be accessed from elsewhere.
- These Terms are provided in English and Greek. Both versions are intended to have the same meaning. If there is a conflict, the Greek version prevails for users located in Greece; otherwise the English version prevails.
